We honor Brandon Brown from Diversified Waste Management, Inc. as a hero for National Waste & Recycling Workers Week!

Diversified Waste Management was founded on the idea there was a need to keep construction sites clean. Identifying a need runs deep in the Brown family. Brandon identified a need within his community that has allowed him to grow a business, in the same way, his wife and partner Keely identified a deep need within the Amarillo Community. As the co-founder of Colorful Closets Amarillo, Brandon helps to collect, organize and distribute clothing/mini-wardrobes for children in need in the Amarillo ISD school system. Since September of 2016, Colorful Closets Amarillo has provided mini wardrobes to over 700 Amarillo children. With more than 67% of AISD students living in poverty, there is more work to be done and more closets to fill. Our Wastequip staff had a great time retrieving clothes from one of their drop-off locations and presenting them with a donation for their charity. Go Brandon! #WastequipCares
