I wanted to share a sweet little story that might warm some hearts around Christmas.
I literally have tears in my eyes from the warmth in my heart right now! Every week our garbage man (Tim) looks up at the house to see if my 3 year old Carson is there and ALWAYS waves and honks at Carson when he sees him. We left Tim a little Christmas gift and watched him put it in his truck, we all waved to each other but then he went in to his truck and grabbed a gift for Carson!!! We met him at the door and when he gifted Carson a beautifully wrapped Christmas present, Carsons eyes lit up with amazement. Not only amazed at the fact he was receiving a gift from our garbage man but he was finally face to face with one of his “hero’s”. Carson opened his gift and was thrilled to have received the same toy truck as Tim drives! Tim has such an amazing soul for making my little boys Christmas and Carson will never forget this!
My family moved to Ladysmith BC in March 2019 and the people here are constantly proving to me that there ARE so many good citizens out there. They are all just living/working in our little town of Ladysmith.
