Robert WilsonFounder, President

Robert founded Precision Waste Services in December 2010 after seeing the need for a customer-focused full service solid waste company in the CSRA.

Attending Emory University as a Watson-Brown Scholar, Robert graduated with High Honors with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Finance and a Bachelor of Arts, Economics.

Robert was hired as a Business Development Analyst at GMAC in 2005, where he worked with a team to finance airlines, private jets and cargo ships.

In 2006, Robert joined Roark Capital Group, as a private equity associate. His roles included: lead diligence, deal execution and post-acquisition management of middle-market private equity investments. His completed buyout and growth equity investments totaled $1.26 billion in enterprise value. For three years, Robert worked on environmental services acquisitions. His largest investment for Roark Capital was Waste Pro USA, Inc. with a $100 million growth equity investment.

In 2010, Robert saw a business opportunity in the CSRA to build his own waste hauling company from the ground up. With the desire to start a family with his wife, Virginia, Robert moved to McDuffie County and purchased the assets of a struggling local waste hauler operation.

In four years, Precision Waste has grown 500% since its formation. Robert is a member of the Thomson Rotary Club, a member of Thomson 1st United Methodist and is active on the Thomson-McDuffie Chamber of Commerce. Robert resides in Thomson with his wife, Virginia, and two daughters.
