Company: City of El Paso – Environmental Services Department
Years of Service: 23
Comments: Brian, an Air Force veteran, was a dedicated employee who loved his job and was very proud of it. He had great knowledge about the entire Landfill Operation, constantly taking classes, reading articles/books about the industry, and was one of those individuals who was always willing to share his knowledge with co-worker and employees. Brian was a very happy person, always with a smile on his face. He loved telling jokes and was one of those guys who just makes your day better after you talked to him, very joyful person to be around. He loved spending time with his grandson. He loved sports, especially football and was a hardcore New England Patriots fan. Brian was a great employee, supervisor, co-worker, but especially a great human being.
We will not forget you, Brian Roderick.
Together, let’s honor the memory of the men and women who have served by our side. Whether on the garbage trucks, delivering portable sanitation units, or working in the offices and repair shops, the employees of our industry serve important roles and are very special people. As we remember this fallen hero of the waste industry, we join with their family and co-workers to honor their service.
