Mr. Jose Rosendo has been with the Solid Waste division since July, 1994. Jose has excellent knowledge of Transfer Station Operation. He has attended the University of Florida Treeo courses to become a certified Operator in Transfer Station Operation and Material Recovery facilities. He know and understands how to operate heavy equipment such as a Grapple Truck, Fully Automated Truck, Wheel Loaders, and Excavator. Jose pre-screens customer loads for items prohibited at the Transfer Station. He is polite and courteous to his coworkers and customers. Jose has the ability to speak two languages (English and Spanish). His ability to speak two languages helps the City of Tampa to provide outstanding customer service. Jose’s commitment to safety is outstanding. He has been injury and accident free and always promotes a positive attitude.
